While JHK can be found racing bikes all over the world from February to October, he has recently tapped his background in engineering and passion for architecture to pursue a new project.
Studio Shed grew (literally) out of JHK’s bike racing career – as he needed storage space for a plethora of equipment and bikes – and in 2006, built this shed in his backyard. In 2008 – he and a business (and riding – of course) partner founded Studio Shed. The company now nationally distributes a variety of pre-fabricated, environmentally conscious, inspiring buildings – everything from a shed to keep mountain bikes in to backyard offices and garages. Studio Shed installations can be found all over the U.S. – from remote New York woods, to loft rooftops in Chicago, to coastal California mountains. Learn more at www.Studio-Shed.com
